Your family’s life.
Your family’s information.
A family organizer needs your trust before it earns a place in your routine. Here is the approach we’re building toward—and what is still being finalized for public launch.
Founder preview · Security design in progressSend things to your household, not a public feed.
The household onboarding experience is designed around a dedicated MapleWeave email address and phone number for forwarding school emails, texting a reminder, sending a photo or leaving a voicemail. Those addresses route incoming information into that household’s private review and organization flow. They are not public family profiles.
A household-specific inbox.
Forward a message rather than granting MapleWeave unrestricted access to your personal inbox. We intend to process the information you choose to send, including attachments, for organizing your family’s calendar, tasks and lists.
One household, one destination.
A dedicated number will be designed to accept household texts and voicemails. Phone numbers and email addresses are not yet automatically issued to public customers; this is part of the planned onboarding service.
Choose where your information lives.
We’re designing a storage choice at setup: connect your own Google account and use your Google Drive for supported files, or choose a MapleWeave-managed storage option. Either way, the app will need limited access to the information necessary to organize it.
In your Google Drive.
The bring-your-own-storage option is designed to keep family documents and saved attachments under your Google account. Google permissions and sharing choices still matter. Connecting a calendar or Drive also requires appropriate permissions, which we intend to explain before access is granted.
MapleWeave-managed storage.
For families who prefer not to manage their own file storage, we are exploring a hosted option. Storage limits, fees, deletion rules and technical protections will be published before it is offered.
Privacy is more than a password.
Household boundaries and permissions
We are designing family-specific access, adults’ review and approval controls, and age-appropriate visibility for children. A shared household screen should not expose items that a family member has marked private.
Careful handling of incoming messages
Photos, forwarded emails and voice recordings can contain sensitive details. The intended system processes them to identify useful dates, tasks and reminders, escalating difficult interpretation to AI services when necessary. Any such processing must be disclosed with appropriate privacy terms before launch.
Secure connections and access
Our production security checklist includes encrypted network connections, properly scoped account permissions, access controls, safe credential handling, and separate household data. We will verify implementation before representing these protections as completed or certified.
Correction, export and deletion
Families should be able to correct mistaken entries and know what happens when they disconnect or leave. We are defining export, retention and deletion procedures, including how they differ between customer-owned Google storage and MapleWeave-managed storage.
We won’t ask you to trust promises we haven’t verified.
MapleWeave is in private founder testing. Our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions are now published; service-provider details and retention and deletion practices will be refined before public signup, and the confirmed security controls. Ordinary email and SMS are not end-to-end encrypted channels; avoid sending information you wouldn’t be comfortable transmitting through those services.
